(1) It is not necessary to dry the POM before processing. It is better to preheat it during processing (about 80 ℃), which is good for the stability of product size
(2) The processing temperature of POM is very narrow (0~215 ℃), and it will decompose when it stays in the barrel for a little longer or the temperature exceeds 220 ℃, producing highly irritating formaldehyde gas
(3) During POM injection molding, the holding pressure should be high (close to the injection pressure) to reduce the pressure drop. The screw speed should not be too high and the residue should be small
(4) POM products have large shrinkage and are easy to shrink or deform. POM products have large specific heat and high mold temperature (80~100 ℃). The products are very hot when demoulding, so it is necessary to prevent fingers from being scalded
(5) POM should be formed and processed under the conditions of "medium pressure, medium speed, low material temperature and high mold temperature", and the mold temperature should be controlled when precision products are formed
